Dear Families,
Make way for "Hands On Problem Solving" at Mrs. Barrett's Math Day!
We need to get ready, and we need your help. This is what it will take:
1. One or two volunteers 3/24/10
2. Kidney beans (2 packs)
3. One pack blue construction paper.
4. Sunflower seeds
5. 1 8x10 pack of red construction paper pre-cut into 20 ovals to be ladybugs
6. 2 boxes gallon ziploc bags
7. 2 large bags of jelly beans
8. 1 jumbo box of goldfish
9. large size sticky post-it notes

March news
Zoo field trip March 30.
Two official chaperones are needed at the cost of $16 each. If you would like to be an official chaperone, let Mrs. Barrett know. The two will be drawn from a hat. Other parents are welcome to meet the class at the zoo, pay and enjoy the day. Official chaperones may not bring other children.
Six student still need permission slips.
Parent summit tonight beginning at 6:00 p.m. Child care is provided for school age children. We have five great topics for our parents to choose from including: "The Challenges of Raising a Boy"; "Special Education Nuts and Bolts" ;" Preparing for the CRCT"; "The Challenges of Raising a Girl" and "Preparing for Middle School". The Parent Summit promises to be a very informative
event!
